Sexual Gender Minority Reparations Office

India still does not allow Same-Sex marriage even though they approved of Transexuals getting married in 2019. Japan is only G7 country that does not offer Same-Sex marriage. This means both countries are not in compliance with UN Treaties as of March 2024. Before we dive in further, please explain how this singular Human Rights Criminal Negligence Issue of the SGM 10% of Earth's population, 810,000,000 souls as of September 2023, has not reached UN level Gross CAH. The adoption of our first CAH Convention is now so past due-  it violates itself in systematic delays and further injures those so far excluded as Human Rights victims.

So... What is SGM? We are. Its not Southern Gospel Music nor Sargeant Major, but definitely beats a strong and timeless cadence. The NIH found our LGBTI community to have a healthcare disparity and created their Sexual & Gender Minority Research Office in 2015. Many beneficial actions have been taken since then but how long should we allow this invasive research without including some parameters of our own into their abstracts

How many years did DADT need to bring about change (including limited reparations). How many years of 'the more you know' does UN Special Investigator or an NIH need beyond what Masters & Johnson found or worse, the Price of Exclusion as summarized by the World Bank, 5% GDP.  At what point do we just say stop with your studies, show us our protections and lets get working together as disparities lessen, communities strengthen and the earth is tended.

Here is how they have defined our community: ”Sexual and gender minority (SGM) populations include, but are not limited to, individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, transgender, two-spirit, queer, and/or intersex. Individuals with same-sex or -gender attractions or behaviors and those with a difference in sex development are also included. These populations also encompass those who do not self-identify with one of these terms but whose sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or reproductive development is characterized by non-binary constructs of sexual orientation, gender, and/or sex.” 

The Federal Register refers to us with the term SGM. It is used in Congress and universities are adopting SGM too. When will this named minority class be granted the protections normally associated with a minority class?  When will the US SGM individuals know remedy has been made? It takes much more than passing a limited Gay Reparations bill in the House, it must be approved by our Senate and the President. It should address harms to all living SGM members and acknowledge wrongs done to prior generations.
